Dental patients shared their bounty as they brightened their smiles during November.
December 11, 2017, Mt. Vernon, Ohio – A whopping 411 pounds of food items were delivered to Interchurch Social Services this past Friday as part of the Food for the Hungry campaign. The food was collected during the Season of Thanks food drive held all during November at Brian Howe DDS, Family Dentistry.
“We are happy and proud to be part of this generous community,” commented Dr. Howe after seeing the stacks of food lining his reception area. “Our patients really rose to the occasion, bringing in food all during November to share with those less fortunate than ourselves.” As an incentive, patients who donated food during the drive received a $25 coupon toward their dental services.
During December, Dr. Howe’s Family Dentistry is collecting new mittens, gloves and hats that will be donated to Knox County charities in January.
